Ultrashift P5.4 PRO R Tuning Chart Overview
This chart provides guidelines for vehicles running 32” tires at sea level. Adjustments may be required for different terrains or conditions.
For High Altitudes: Subtract 15% from the published HP to calculate effective HP. Example: 200 CHP (sea level) x 0.85 = 170 CHP. Use the 175 CHP row in the chart as your baseline.
For Sand Dunes or Large Tires (35”+): Subtract 8% from the published HP to calculate effective HP. Example: 200 CHP x 0.92 = 184 CHP. Use the 175 CHP row as your baseline.
For Tires 28” and Smaller: Add 8% to the published HP to calculate effective HP. Example: 200 CHP x 1.08 = 216 CHP. Use the 215 CHP row as your baseline.
For Launch Control: Install the High Engagement Primary Spring (sold separately). Add 2 thick magnets to the cam arms to compensate for increased spring pressure.
Setup Chart
225 CHP / 195 WHP: Hole #1: 3 magnets, Hole #2: 2 magnets in the mid, Hole #3: 0 magnets in the tip.
255 CHP / 225 WHP: Hole #1: 3 magnets, Hole #2: 4 magnets in the mid, Hole #3: 0 magnets in the tip.
290 CHP / 250 WHP: Hole #1: 3 magnets, Hole #2: 4 magnets in the mid, Hole #3: 2 magnets in the tip.
330 CHP / 275 WHP: Hole #1: 3 magnets, Hole #2: 4 magnets in the mid, Hole #3: 4 magnets in the tip.
360 CHP / 310 WHP: Hole #1: 4 magnets, Hole #2: 2 magnets in the mid, Hole #3: 1 magnet in the tip.
400 CHP / 350 WHP: Hole #1: 4 magnets, Hole #2: 2 magnets in the mid, Hole #3: 1 magnet in the tip.
500 CHP / 450 WHP: Hole #1: 4 magnets, Hole #2: 4 magnets in the mid, Hole #3: 2 magnets in the tip.
600 CHP / 550 WHP: Hole #1: 6 magnets, Hole #2: 2 magnets in the mid, Hole #3: 1 magnet in the tip.
Additional Recommendations
•Pivot Bolt: Use a 25mm pivot bolt ONLY. Longer bolts will jam and cause damage.
•Clicker Setting: Position #3 is factory default. Position #2 can also be used.
Springs and Helix Options:
•OEM Helix with KWI Black/Orange Secondary Spring (standard).
•OEM Helix with KWI Black/Blue Secondary Spring (sold separately).
Belt Recommendations:
•Gates 49R4313: Most durable and best for aggressive riding.
•OEM Belt: Reliable and readily available.
Full-Throttle RPM Targets
•Standard OEM Setup: 8150 ± 100 RPM.
•Aftermarket Turbo Kit: 8400 ± 100 RPM.
