AO-P1 Tuning Chart Overview

This chart helps you set up your clutch based on your vehicle’s horsepower (HP) and specific conditions like tire size, elevation, and terrain. Adjustments may be needed to match your setup perfectly.

 

General Adjustments

1.High Altitude: Subtract 15% from your horsepower (HP).

Example: 200 HP becomes 170 HP. Use the 175 HP row in the chart.

2.Sand Dunes or Large Tires (35”+): Subtract 8%.

Example: 200 HP becomes 184 HP. Use the 175 HP row.

3.Small Tires (28” or smaller): Add 8%.

Example: 200 HP becomes 216 HP. Use the 215 HP row.

 

Setup Chart

 

For each HP level, use the magnets and pivot bolts listed:

120 HP / 100 WHP: No magnets, 25mm pivot bolt.

152 HP / 130 WHP: 2 magnets in the tip, 25mm pivot bolt.

175 HP / 165 WHP: 4 magnets in the tip, 30mm pivot bolt.

195 HP / 175 WHP: 2 magnets in the mid, 4 in the tip, 25mm pivot bolt.

215 HP / 185 WHP: 2 magnets in the mid, 4 in the tip, 30mm pivot bolt.

225 HP / 195 WHP: 2 magnets in the mid, 4 in the tip, 35mm pivot bolt.

255 HP / 225 WHP: 4 magnets in the mid, 4 in the tip, 35mm pivot bolt.

290 HP / 250 WHP: 4 magnets in the mid, 4 in the tip, 35mm pivot bolt.

330 HP / 275 WHP: AO.001 Green Kit.

360 HP / 310 WHP: AO.001 Green Kit.

 

Launch Control Setup

 

For launch control, use the High Engagement Primary Spring (sold separately).

•Add 2 thick magnets or a longer pivot bolt if magnet slots are full to adjust for the higher RPM.

 

Full Throttle RPM Targets

OEM Turbo: 7950 RPM ± 100 RPM.

•Use OEM Turbo RR Black/Green Spring in Hole #3 (60° wrap).

Aftermarket Turbo: 8150 RPM ± 100 RPM.

•Use KWI DR3 Groovix or DSS with dual springs for better performance.

 

Important Notes

PDrive Primary: Not recommended above 370 HP / 320 WHP.

Magnet Placement: Distribute magnets evenly to balance the clutch. Do not overfill—magnets must be flush.

Calibration: Adjust settings if results vary due to small HP differences between vehicles.
