The OEM primary clutches are stable and reliable up to around 350 wheel horsepower. For horsepower levels above that, especially with good traction and 2-step, consider switching to aftermarket billet primary clutches or our KWI ULTRASHIFT Billet Clutch for optimal performance.
The OEM secondary clutches, both Can-Am and Polaris Pro, can handle power up to 600+ wheel HP when our springs are installed. There's usually no need to change to aftermarket secondary clutches, as we offer springs and Billet Helixes in various angles to hold the belt and manage the power.
